Casualties of 100 years ago look much different

-- Dec. 29, 1952, the city of Owensboro may have to buy corn to keep the city squirrels from starving. Park Supervisor Louis Murphy said there must have been a short crop of hickory nuts this year because the squirrels haven't been fed as well.
